I am a 30-year-old 3D Artist, currently living in Espoo, Finland. Recently graduated from MSc Animation & VFX at the University of Dundee, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design and finished my first internship at the gaming industry at Return Entertainment. I am an adventurer at heart, keen on trying and experiencing new things. Be it outside with my camera or in a studio working on my next animation piece, I’m always driven with the thought of learning and evolving. I like to challenge myself with new ideas and enjoy finding exciting solutions to problems I might encounter.

As a Finn, my work ethic is as strong as the coffee you’d find in Helsinki.

I really started pursuing art as my career at the age of nineteen, when I moved out of my hometown to study graphic design and photography at Paasikivi-Opisto in Turku, Finland. I spent the next three years studying the theory and technique of both, in school and outside on internships during my second and third years. While studying I also worked as a freelancer, illustrating books for HUMAK and photographing events like weddings. While working on the illustrations and character design I realised animation was something I would really enjoy.

After I graduated in June 2016, I took a year off to work at one of my internship workplaces, Rabbit Visuals, as a real estate photographer and to build up my portfolio in order to apply to Scottish colleges. I got accepted to North East Scotland College in Aberdeen and moved over there in 2017.

After a year of intensive studies, I graduated from NESCol in 2018 with HNC in Art and Design. I applied to different universities all around Scotland before deciding to enrol at Dundee University. Five years later I graduated with first class honours in BDes Animation and with Merit in MSc Animation & VFX.

I moved back to Finland at the end of 2023 and started my first job at the gaming industry as a 3D Artist intern at Return Entertainment. It was fascinating to see how real games were made and I learned so much from nearly every aspect of the pipeline. Now I’m in the look out for my next exciting opportunities at the industry.
